FAQ's

❓What if the property doesn’t sell?

We design every renovation with saleability in mind — we don’t overcapitalise, and we’re
experts in what today’s buyers want. That said, we understand the concern.
If your property doesn’t sell within the agreed campaign period, we’ll reassess together and
explore options like extended marketing, price review, or rental. You’re never locked into
selling if the market isn't right, and we’ll always work with you to achieve the best outcome.

❓ Who pays for the renovation works?

We do. Mi Casa covers the upfront costs of the agreed renovation scope — including trades,
materials, and project management. These costs are only deducted from the final sale
proceeds after the property sells, so there's no out-of-pocket expense for you upfront.

❓ How are costs tracked and reported?

Transparency is everything. You’ll receive a detailed renovation scope and cost estimate
before works begin, and we’ll provide regular updates and final reconciliation once complete.
You’ll always know what’s being spent — and why.

❓ Is there a contract?

Yes. Once we agree to move forward, we sign a simple, legally binding agreement that
outlines:
 The agreed current value of the home
 The renovation budget and scope
 How profits will be split
 The timeline and expectations for sale
This protects both parties and keeps everything clear from the start.

❓ What kind of renovations do you do?

Most of our projects are cosmetic only — think painting, new flooring, lighting upgrades,
garden clean-ups, and staging. We're not knocking down walls or adding extensions. It’s all
about quick, cost-effective improvements that increase appeal and drive competition.

❓ Do I have to sell with Mi Casa?

Yes — our renovation partnership includes the full campaign: renovation, styling, marketing,
and selling. This ensures consistency, quality control, and the best result for both of us. And
of course, you benefit from our award-winning sales strategy and buyer network.

❓ What kind of properties do you work with?

We’re looking for properties that:
 Are structurally sound but cosmetically dated
 Are located in Perth metro areas with good buyer demand
 Are being sold by owners who are open to collaboration
 Have enough value uplift potential to make the partnership worthwhile for both sides
