Aged/Care Information Session
In October this year we hosted another successful Information Session focused around; Aged Care, Retirement and Downsizing. Attendees where presented key and current information by our knowledgeable panel including; Amanda Doyle from In Focus, Anne Hurley from HHG Legal and Dr Nicky Howe from South Care. The event was presented by Jenny Seaton. We look forward to putting together more of these events in the future.
Maggie Dent – Taming the Stress Monster – September 2018
This year we hosted over 300 information hungry parents and teens at Melville Senior High School, where Maggie Dent captivated all attendees with her wealth of knowledge, advice and stories. We were thrilled to raised over $5000 for our chosen charities and look forward to the next one. A huge thank you to our amazing sponsors, who this event would not be possible without.
North Perth Office Opening June 2018
It was a full house for our North Perth office opening and perfect timing to celebrate 3 years in business! It was wonderful to have so many of our clients, suppliers, staff members and new neighbours celebrate this occasion with us.
Retirement Seminar May 2018
We gathered together three experts to shed light and answer questions on the process of Downsizing and moving into Aged Care. We welcomed Dr Nicky Howe – CEO of Southcare and an Aged Care Home Care expert, Anne Hurley the leader of the Business and Property team at HHG Legal and Amanda Doyle of Infocus, an expert in Finance.
Topics covered were how to access Aged Care, Various types of retirement village contracts, how selling your home impacts your Aged Pension, Centrelink rules and calculations used for determing Age Pension entitlements.

Another inspiring Networking Event held with the amazing Alicia Curtis from the charity organisation 100 Women as our guest speaker. 100 Women is one of our chosen local charities that we support.
Christmas Wrapping for St Pats December 2017
Once again we were able to take part in preparing Christmas Hampers for those less fortunate in our local community for our Chosen Charity St Pats Fremantle.
We were given lists of families and then prepared hampers to suit their individual needs and then wrapped them up in some Christmas cheer and a whole lot of Mi Casa love!
This is such a rewarding experience that we thoroughly recommend – if you would like to join us look out for our calls for help towards the end of next year.
St Pats Long Table Christmas Dinner 2017
Mi Casa is so proud to sponsor the amazing event that is the Fremantle Long Table Christmas Dinner. Our staff joined an astonishing 800 people this year to support St Patricks Community Centre assist our community’s disadvantaged. Once again it was a wonderful night with delicious food, amazing entertainment and a fab Freo vibe.
St Pat’s has been an integral part of the Fremantle Community for 45 years with the aim of helping people towards self-sufficiency and a better life. The Long Table Dinner is their major fundraising event of the year.
Maggie Dent – From the Sandpit to Adulthood June 2017
Maggie took more than 235 of us from the Sandpit to Adult hood on Thursday 8th June, hosted at the East Fremantle Yacht Club. This was the second time that Mi Casa has invited Maggie Dent to our corner of Perth and this time, through ticket sales alone, we were able donate $4400 to our selected charities; Parkerville Children and Youth Care, St Patricks Communtiy Support Centre, ASeTTS, & 100 Women.

210 Queen Victoria Street, Grand Opening – MAY 2017
On Thursday 18th May, 2017, Mi Casa launched into the Commercial Property market in our usual style by hosting the Grand Opening of 210 Queen Victoria Street, North Fremantle.
Financial Advisor Katie McDonald, from Empire Financial Group, aimed to get our audience excited about Superannuation by delivering an engaging and informative talk titled “How to purchase commercial property in your Super”
Everyone was invited to look through the 10 units for sale and network with each other. A big thank you to everyone who attended and thank you to Quirky Bird Kitchen, Miss Mousse and Old Bridge Cellars for catering the wonderful food and drinks.

Homework Club – MAY 2016

Today Susan visited the ASeTTS Homework Club, which provides tutoring for refugee children and one of our chosen charities to support.
Through donations raised from the sale or leasing of a home we were able to donate $1000 towards essential learning materials for the program.
